We collect the following types of information when you use Runely:

• Account information — your email address and password (stored as a secure hash) when you register.
• Profile and fitness data — information you provide during onboarding, such as your age, weight, fitness level, running experience, training goals, and preferred race distances.
• Training data — your training plans, completed workouts, and progress records generated within the app.
• Device information — basic device and app version data used to diagnose technical issues.

We do not collect your precise location, health data from Apple Health, photos, contacts, or any other sensitive device data.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To generate personalized AI training plans based on your profile.
• To display your training history and progress.
• To improve the app and diagnose technical issues.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. AI-Generated Content

Your profile and fitness data is sent to an AI service (Anthropic Claude) to generate personalized training plans. This data is used solely to produce your training plan and is not used to train AI models. Please review Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Your password is never stored in plain text.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Third-Party Services

Runely uses the following third-party services:

• Anthropic Claude API — for AI training plan generation.
• RevenueCat — for managing in-app subscriptions (if applicable).

Each service has its own privacy policy governing their use of data.

7. Children's Privacy

Runely is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
